ABOUT ME
There is innate wisdom within all of us. If you take a moment to slow down and pause you’ll notice a space opens up, free of judgment and fear, that offers guidance. Whether you call this intuition, consciousness, or meditation, this space exists within all of us. There is no mastery or perfection to healing, all we are asked is to deeply listen to ourselves.
The practice of listening is an art and is often forgotten in the anxiety and stress of our lives. For so long, I ignored my wisdom and denied myself freedom from suffering. Growing up with undiagnosed Autism, I believed that something was inherently wrong with me. I learned to put on a mask at a young age so I could fit in with others. At the time, hiding behind my mask was my attempt to hide from judgment, but pretending to be someone else was exhausting, confusing, and isolating. My narratives about myself unraveled when I realized that as an adult I had no sense of identity. I spent my whole life suppressing myself out of fear and now my mask no longer served me. Taking off my mask for the first time felt uncomfortable, but I quickly realized how rewarding it is to allow myself to be vulnerable and make mistakes. I could finally take a step back and tap into deep listening, where I learned that I am full of unconditional love. In learning how to unmask I completely transformed myself, turning self-hate into self-acceptance.
I started my work as a life coach because I know I am not alone in this experience. You don’t need a diagnosis to know what it’s like to feel othered, and the myth of “normal” is damaging to our well-being. The journey to self-acceptance can be challenging, but there is freedom in discovering your innate wisdom. So…
